Loveland, Colo. – Ann Clarke, CEO and founder of Colorado Women of Influence, invites and Joan King, Master Certified Coach and author of Cellular Wisdom, have announced the coaches selected for the September mini-retreat, "Beyond Success to Greatness."
"No matter where you are in life, and what things are challenging you, one of these coaches is a match for you," notes King. The mini-retreat will take place Thursday, April 23, 2009 at The Garden Room in Loveland, Colorado, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The cost is $99 per person. Ann is the owner of GR8 Ideas at Work, LLC, and recently founded Colorado Women of Influence, LLC to create a community of support for Northern Colorado women in business. About Joan King
Joan King has led a rewarding life, blending faith, personal experience and science into a life-long quest for learning. The death of her father when she was just 10 changed her from a carefree child to a serious young woman trying to understand the deepest layers of life. She studied philosophy and theology in a Dominican convent for 11 years, until she came to the realization that for her, "religious answers were not enough." She then looked to science as she earned Ph.D.s in Neurosciences and Psychology from Tulane University. For 20 years she was a professor and neuroscience researcher at Tufts University Schools of Medicine in Boston, MA, where she also served as chair of the Department of Anatomy and Cellular Biology and Director of a multi-campus research center.
Her quest for learning continued when she left the academic world. In 1998, she came to Colorado and founded Beyond Success, LLC, a certified professional/personal coaching business. Her goal is to assist others in the same process of self-examination, self-reflection and self-actualization that she experienced in her own life and career.
